This system is largely based on ideas from Brad Sugars, the founder of the global business coaching industry. They are practical, easy to adopt and used by clients in 53 countries. When adopted they will remove the ‘’Below The Line’’ behaviour : seen in most companies of all sizes around the world. The advantage of this system is that as much as 2 hours per day can be saved as there are scheduled communication slots during the week and most issues (80%) can be deferred until those meetings rather than ‘’reacting to crises’’ all the time.
Be impeccable with your word – Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
Eric Berne initiated the principle within Transactional Analysis that we are all born ‘’OK’’…in other words good and worthy. Frank Ernst developed these into the ‘’OK Matrix’’. These are also known as ‘’life positions’’
After the global economic downturn, many business owners will be afraid of expansion and might assume the timing couldn’t be worse to expand globally. However, that may be not the case. There are good opportunities for many business models in foreign markets. The trick is to identify that particular, underserved niche that is a match for your business, and go after it.
Fear is not a word that is often associated with leadership. Sometimes it’s difficult to pinpoint. It often manifests itself as a gnawing feeling that holds you back, keeping you from taking that “next step” that will bring your business to a new level. It may be shrouded in an excuse: I don’t know which avenue to pursue, I don’t have enough resources/knowledge/connections, etc etc….. there are many excuses we all use.
